Double dates and oatmeal creme pies!

Week # 3 has started! I have successfully been on this health journey for 14 days. I feel amazing!! I feel light and energetic! I feel happier and more motivated than ever. Today is day 8 of Insanity. I did my work out this morning. I am getting better at the moves. I can get through the warm up with out stopping every 30 seconds. I can already see some definition in my thighs and arms. My stomach has slimmed down and my face is getting thinner. I LOVE it! So 2 weeks of this and I’m already feeling this great?? You better believe that I will not stop going!!

We leave for Orlando in 6 weeks!! So excited! We have so many little things to do before then. Fun things. Like get my hair cut, get Ben’s hair cut, tan (I know it’s bad for me but we want a little color for vaca), buy a few cute outfits, change the oil in the car, make sure all the bills are paid, and closer to the trip we are going to go to the store and pick up some water bottles, healthy snacks and fruit for the days we are in the park. We are going to try to eat healthier and drink more water. So I figured we could get all of that out of the way here that way we don’t have to go to the store in Orlando.  We are gonna get a small back pack and put all of our snacks and things in there while we are at the parks. I am going to try my very hardest to stay under 2000 calories a day. I’m going to try to make wiser decisions when it comes to eating. But I am still on vacation so I will splurge.

So the hardest thing we are trying to do is to work out at our hotel every morning. :/ I am scared that it won’t happen. But we are going to try. I’m gonna do Insanity in our hotel room each morning before we head out to the park and Ben is going to go to the fitness center and do his work outs. We really want to stay focused on our fitness and health while we are on vacation. So with me doing Insanity plus walking ALL DAY, plus eating wiser, I could actually lose a few pounds on vacation!!! Eeek!

I am so looking forward to the holidays!! Thanksgiving, Christmas! Ahh! I get to decorate my house and wrap presents and bring desserts to mom’s house! So much fun! Ben and I have so many fun things in our near future! I feel like it’s a dream! Orlando, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, All of these things while being married!!! That’s fun! We are going to Six Flags on Saturday with Savannah and Nick. Double date! Finally we get to do a fun couples date as married people!! Savannah and I are going to try really hard to eat healthy while we are there. I never really eat bad there because all the food is soooo expensive! We are just gonna drink water and we will be walking a whole lot so we should be good! Plus I am gonna wake up a little earlier and do Insanity before we leave! **Hopefully**!

Last night was a little harder than normal. I really wanted the Oatmeal Creme Pie in my pantry. really bad. I was getting a little irritated, which I knew would happen eventually. But I cut up some strawberries with a little cool whip and felt great. It’s those little decisions that will help me see the best results! Every choice I make, every dessert I turn down, every glass of water I drink, every morning I choose to work out a little harder is going to help mold me and transform me into the woman I want to be. It takes time. ALOT of time. But I will conquer this. I will! I always give up. I always relax and eat whatever, I always stop exercising. Well not this time.

Today I am cooking a really yummy dinner. It’s called  Meatball Parmesan Casserole! 🙂 I’m sure it will be scrumptious. It has meatballs, cheese and pasta sauce! So yeah! 🙂

Today I leave you with a Bible verse that has really helped me through difficult times in my life and especially through this health journey.

Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
    the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
    his understanding is unsearchable.
  He gives power to the faint,
    and to him who has no might he increases strength.
   Even youths shall faint and be weary,
    and young men shall fall exhausted;
  but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
    they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
    they shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:28-31
